All you have to do is search KTM530 and the RC4 oil migration problem will pop up right along with everything else. You obviously know the causes so you did some research. The question is do you actually have an 09 motor, makes a bike difference in the possible causes of your problem.

Posted July 31, 2020. The 350's have had a problem for several years, hadnt heard of 450's failing. The 450's arent the same motor design . 250's and 350's are same design, 450's and 500 different design. The 350 issue, was the plastic gear reverting back to a liquid state, not like breaking teeth, but actually liquidizing, sometimes bad enough
