UK/Ireland Location: Peeblesshire. Posted February 1, 2015. I'm having issues with the ABS system on my Focus. I had issues with the light coming on about 4 weeks ago, and put it into my Ford Dealership who linked the car up to the IDS system and it was diagnosed as front wheel sensors. These were replaced and the system bled via the IDS system
Hi recently my car has developed a fault where it looses power during acceleration thought nothing of it until the system warning light came on red stars with an exclamation mark in the middle, after driving for a bit the MIL Light came on and up on running full diagnostics on the car the code P2135 is the issue I understand that I will have to replace the TPS but after getting part numbers
I'm hoping that this might help someone else out, regarding Ford Focus MK II, 2.0 TDCI 2006 Starting Issues. Had intermittent issues starting, sometimes you could turn the key, cranking for ages, and it wouldn't start. but usually on the 2nd time it would. this happens when hot or cold, sometimes it would happen after being sat for a week, but sometimes it would start first time after a week
Ford Focus 2004-2011 Mk2: what to watch out for. The 2004-2011 Mk2 Focus has a no more than an average reliability record, and there are some common issues that are well worth being mindful of.
On almost all Fords, including Mk2 Focus, the Aux power is turned off at the ignition switch when it is turned to start position. The fuse in the Aux supply to the radio is F68 (F108 in later fuseboxes), Measuring the voltage on this fuse will test if the Aux supply from the ignition switch is being turned off.
Unfortunately, that is the common cluster fault. The solder on the main connector needs re-soldering as they get dry joints and the vehicle looses comms with the modules on the car. Plenty of places offer a repair and return service (check eBay, search Focus MK2 cluster repair) it'll cost you about £50-60
